Behind the Scenes: Lady Acres
If you haven't noticed by now, I lean heavily toward contemporary design. I gravitate toward clean spaces and strong angles and cool color palettes. I love environments that feel refreshing and clean, poised for you to add a personal touch. Tucked into eight private acres in the Oak Hill neighborhood of Nashville, you'll find my dream space: "First Lady Acres." And this August, our team at The Conley House was lucky enough to to stage the inside of this iconic gem — a 10,000 square foot California-contemporary masterpiece. Beyond the actual design elements, the home itself is a piece of heritage — a once upon a time wedding gift from George Jones to Tammy Wynette, the First Lady of Country music. Originally decked out in solid 1970s style, the home underwent a massive renovation in 2015, emerging as a bright white, modern estate primed for a new legendary occupant.
Given the unique Nashville heritage of this home, we collaborated with some of our city's best brands to show what new Nashville living really looks like. See more pictures of the space below and learn about our collaborating partners here. Now, who wants to move in?
