Design Inpso: Winter Weather Tablescape

When it drifts into winter, I always cling to my favorite colors: black and white. They're endlessly romantic, powerful, and elegant. They're the natural accompaniment to the chill in the air and that welcoming sensation you feel when you step out of the cold into a warm doorway and shimmy off your coat.

Earlier this year, we visited The Gadsden House in Charleston with Kelle Sauer. We wanted to build table designs around concepts you could create in your home. While I adore extraordinary design elements, like florals, I also treasure simple spaces that I can effortlessly cook up. This design cozied right up to the fireplace feels perfect for that December dinner party. Simple, memorable, and bold.
